Working in-house for a major U.S. landlord, Derek started his career representing retail projects in major Texas markets. He transitioned into retail brokerage working on projects throughout Western and Central New York before starting SQ/FT Healthcare Real Estate. Derek’s built a team of industry experts throughout New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. In 2021, the announcement was made that SQ/FT Commercial Real Estate was joining EXP Commercial, connecting the firm to similarly skilled experts across the globe. SQ/FT Commercial can now work anywhere you need to be.

Robb is a commercial real estate broker for SQ/FT specializing in the healthcare markets throughout New Jersey and greater New York.

As a real estate advisor, Robb has represented a full range of healthcare providers, from multi-location physician groups to single-practitioner dentists, optometrists, and veterinarians; every client and every project is important.

Robb’s career includes many years in commercial finance, which, when coupled with more than a decade of experience in commercial real estate, gives him an advantageous perspective on transaction details. He understands not only how to best market, vet, and value a property, but also how a transaction is viewed by a bank and, more importantly, how to preemptively solve anticipated issues and provide creative structures to expedite closings.
